HELLO-O-O-O!!!
Well, I’m sitting here at my computer, wondering when pressing keys on a keyboard became so exhausting. I ran a brush through my hair this morning, but was too tired to finish the ritual and ended up leaving my hair alone for the moment. I’m curled up in a sweatshirt, hoping that no one notices the bags under my eyes.
Still, I couldn’t be happier.
On July 7th, we girls and Dovid flew back to Minnesota to finish up orthodontics. We left at seven and drove three hours to the airport.
When we finally took off, the plane was so loud that the only bands I could hear in my headphones were Skillet and Fit For A King. XD Still . . .
I didn’t take a lot of pictures in Minnesota, but I think it’s safe to say that we had a LOT of fun! We went to a toy store and picked out a bunch of toys for the kids. Hattush and I each bought a piece of laffy taffy. Afterwards, we drove to Panera and tried to figure out our new game. It didn’t really work, but it was fun to laugh at the cute pictures.
We collapsed in our hotel room that night. I slept until 6:30, after which I read my new book, The Reason by Lacey Sturm, until everyone else woke up. 😉
Long story short, we went to the orthodontics place and Hattush and I got our braces removed. Hattush had already had her expander removed, but I got mine removed on this trip, along with the braces.
After walking around downtown for a bit, getting ice cream at Nelsons (which you NEED to try if you’re ever in Minnesota), and returning the rental car, we headed back to the airport for our flight home.
All in all, I had a really good time. It was awesome to be able to spend girl time together and I learned way more than I had expected on this trip.
Have a great day!

What about you? Have you ever been on a plane? Do you have/have you had braces at one point? What’s your favorite part about travelling? 🙂
Awesome!
Love the pics!
And to answer your questions… I have never been on a plane, but I will for coming home from college at Christmas time.
Yes, I had braces for 2 and a half years.
Best part of traveling is stopping for lunch/dinner.

Really? Cool! I got to ride on a plane for the first time this year, which was both exciting and nerve wracking. Oh-h-h, sorry about the braces. That’s a long time!!! Lol, yeah. XD

You’re welcome!
Yep! Cool. Yeah, I’m scared. I’ll be all by myself.
It was tough but worth it for the smile I now have! 🙂

Wonderful post! That’s so exciting that you got to go on an airplane! I actually got to go on one a month ago or so when I visited some relatives in FL (it was my second time flying, but the first time had been when I was super young so I didn’t remember much). It was super fun! Congrats on getting your braces off! I got braces pretty early, so even though I’m only twelve I’ve already gotten mine off. I had them for just a little over two years. It was wonderful getting them off!! 😁 I would say my favorite part of traveling is simply getting to see new places and new people, and sometimes new food as well! 😜
Great post!

Thanks! Yeah, it was fun. That’s so cool! All of my flights have been for braces, which is . . . exciting. Oh, that’s great! I had my braces for less than a year because my orthodontist was able to do them really fast. *cheers* Yeah, that’s a great part of travelling!!! 😀

I can’t stand wearing a mask for three minutes. Three hours would have probably……..I’ll leave it at that. You travel out of state for braces?

Yeah, it’s pretty annoying. XD Well, we started our orthodontics in Minnesota, but we moved before everything was done. So we flew back to finish with the same orthodontist . . . it’s confusing, I know. 😉

Ha! I can’t imagine having to endure wearing those! I haven’t worn those yet, but I have one. One of our friends flew here for a visit once and he said he just took little sips of water the whole flight so he didn’t have to wear a mask. : ) That is what I would do if I have to!
I love peoples pictures from planes!!! They are so dreamy!
